Speedcheck HOLLINGBOURNE

On Wednesday 1st May 2024, officers were active in HOLLINGBOURNE conducting speed checks outside the school and also further up the road in two separate points. This has come after numerous requests from local residents about speeding through this main road through the village. Speeding drivers were stopped and spoken to with all details being taken down along with strong words of advice around road safety and what speeding can cause. All drivers stopped engaged well with police and will be contacted by the Community Speedwatch.

Some vehicles stopped were driven by local residents. Please always drive safely and follow the posted speed limit signs. If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to reply.
