Anti-Social riding of a Quad Bike in Broseley

On Wednesday the 2nd of May, Police received reports of a quad bike and an off road bike being ridden on Wilkinson Avenue, Broseley.  The riding of such vehicles in a public place is illegal, dangerous and cause alarm and distress to people in the area.

The Safer Neighbourhood team (SNT) would like to speak to the riders to explain to them the risks that they are exposing themselves and others to by their behaviour.

If you are able to assist us in identifying the riders, please contact the team by using our email bmw.snt@westmercia.police.uk

If the anti-social riding continues, the SNT will seek to issue a Section 59 warning Notice to those involved, this could potentially lead to the seizure and destruction of the vehicles involved.

If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org

There are some simple, inexpensive and effective things you can do to help secure your home and property. Security tips and advice can be found on our website www.westmercia.police.uk

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Kind regards,

PCSO Malcolm Goddard
