Last week East NPT Officers tackled the ongoing issue of School parking. We spent time patrolling around both Tranmoor Primary school and Southfield Primary school looking at how vehicles were being parked. 

It didn’t take long to see some classic examples of inconsiderate parking, such as blocking a driveway, parking to close to a junction, or just stopping in the middle of the road, as the kids jumped out!

Over a thirty minute period, we moved a number of vehicles, offered advice around parking and issued 1 ticket for no seatbelt.

The Peugeot vehicle pictured below was my particular favourite of the morning!

I appreciate parking around schools is limited, but please park your vehicles considerately and safely.
