Fishing at Swanley Park is a no no

We have been dealing with some challenges related to fishing around Swanley Park and it’s not because a licence is needed to fish!  Fishing in the lake at Swanley park is strictly not permitted.

As you know its important to protect the wildlife in and around the area and there are plenty of places in Kent where fishing is permitted with a proper fishing licence. If you don't have a licence then the fine can be of up to £2500 so it’s not worth risking.

Patrolling the areas around Swanley park is just one of many areas we are monitoring and hopefully anyone offending realise we are actively watching.  As you can see – we are tackling the problem – excuse the pun!
