Please be aware that recently a motorcycle has been stolen in your area -  Mather Street.

The brief circumstances are, that during hours of darkness unknown offenders approached the motorcycle concealed under a cover on driveway, and by removing fence panel to neighbours garden have lifted bike over a trailer and stolen same and made off undetected. 

This message isn't intended to cause any worry and is just to remind you to be extra vigilant in keeping you and your motorbike/Moped secure and save.

If you own a Motorbike/Moped please, if you can, consider:
- Cover for your motorcycle to make it less visible to thieves;
- Park and secure your motorbike in a well-lit are, preferably somewhere with CCTV;
- Chain and lock your motorcycle to an immovable object, threading the chain through the wheels and frame;
- Use as many security items as you can, such as chain through the back wheel and securing your bike to an immovable item such as ground anchor or a lamppost;
- Motorbike alarms and Immobilisers;
