A man has been arrested after we seized drugs, cash and a mobile phone in Tamworth.

We stopped a white van on Marlborough Way, Glascote, on Monday (29 April) and found cocaine, cash and a mobile phone.

A 56-year-old man, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug (cocaine).

He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
