Concern over firearms incident in Melbourne


We were called just after 12.25pm over concerns a man had a weapon near to the fire station on Castle Street in Melbourne.

Officers attended and have confirmed the man had been legitimately attending a gun shop with an air pistol.

No reports of any threats were made and there is no risk to the public.
