Dear Resident,

Yesterday, while carrying out modern day slavery checks in Whittlesey, neighbourhood officers arrested two men in their 30s and a man in his 20s for immigration offences.

These checks involve us engaging with the workers at locations such as nail bars and car washes to ensure that they are safe and they are not being exploited in any way.

The three men are currently in custody.
