Neighbourhood Policing Team - weekly update

Good afternoon Resident

Each of our areas in East Herts has it's own specific neighbourhood policing team to the area it serves. This team is made up of police officers, police staff, PCSO's and volunteers who work to deal with local quality of life issues alongside lots of other teams such as response, local crime detectives and the Operation Scorpion unit.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) are the officers that deal with local issues, they may be at a local engagement with the community one day, an arrest or high visibility patrols to holding a multi-agency meeting to protect a vulnerable person the next. The work of the NPT is endless and varied and relies on great communication with our hard working partners to make East Herts a safe place to live.

Here’s a round-up of just some of the local engagement that your hard-working local officers have been up to across East Herts.

Community engagement, proactive patrols, arrests – it’s all in a day’s work. And there’s plenty more that happens behind the scenes to investigate crime and apprehend offenders.
