Hello 

I would like to alert residents to two Burglaries that have taken place over the last couple of days in the local area. One off Whalley road in Wilpshire (24th into the 25th) and one off Longsight road at Copster Green (last night 27th into the 28th).

Both properties have been entered by smashing the rear patio door. The properties targeted are not overlooked at the rear and back onto fields. The offenders have conducted searches of both properties and a quantity of cash has been taken from one. 

Neighbourhood officers have been in both areas over the last two days speaking to locals residents to progress our investigations. If you have any further evidence to assist us, then please email 7143@lancashire.police.co.uk. 

Please stay vigilant and secure all property. If you see any suspicious activity, call 101 or 999 in emergency. 

Officers will look to increase their presence in the area.
