Dear Resident

Shifnal's 10k proved to be a popular event that brought lots of runner's and spectators to the town this morning. The event saw a wide range of participants from seasoned athletes to beginners looking to complete the distance for the first time. 

Runners gathered at the start line at 10am ready to embark on their journey with the first runner coming back to cross the finish line in just over 33 minutes!

The first female runner to cross the finish lane came back in just over 40 minutes! Very impressive times. 

Also running today was a Shifnal resident and colleague, Jacqui Fletcher. Jacqui completed the 10k in just under 1 hour and 10 minutes. 

A big well done to everyone who was involved in the event today.
