Ellesmere Port & Neston Police Neighbourhood Crime update - 15 to 28 April 2024


Please note this is not a complete list of all incidents reported during this period - it is purely for the information of local residents to make them aware of incidents that have taken place within their area.

Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Denbigh Court - Entry gained into property via bathroom window which overlooks communal area.jar, containing cash and Trk mountain bike taken.
  • Rossmore
  • South Pier Road – Two reports received of boats, moored at ‘Ellesmere Port Boat Museum’ being entered.
    • Houseboat entered by unknown means and carry out an untidy search.  Electric saws and a fireplace taken.
    • Boat entered and 4 x gauges from engine and pipework removed and taken.
  • Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:

     

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Unknown male entered ‘Boots Pharmacy’ and entered the rear counter area before taking 3 x boxes of prescription medication.
  • Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:

     

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wolverham Road – Lock removed from shed door to gain access. Einhell sliding saw, Dewalt planer, Dewalt drill and Ammaco ladies bike taken before door closed.
  • Robinson Road – Insecure shed entered and hoover taken.

    Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Lancaster Gardens – Outer pain of glass smashed in living room window by an unknown object thrown at it.
  • Caernarvon Court – Bathroom and lounge window smashed.
  • Whitby
  • Elm Grove – Park bench, including concrete block removed and placed behind bushes, out of view by group of youths to sit on.  Whilst there the youths have also damaged 5 whips of pyracantha hedging.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Neston
  • Brook Street - Youths sprayed graffiti onto external wall of ‘Sainsburys’ building.
  • Bridge Street – Window nest to front door of property smashed.
  • Grange
  • Pooltown Road – Living room window smashed with a brick.
  • Sutton Way – Brick thrown through window.

    Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Caernarvon Court – Carrera Vengeance taken from front garden of property.
  • Marina Drive – Silver Carrera Mountain bike taken from outside ‘Lloyds Bank’.
  • York Road – Yellow Voodoo bike with yellow handle grips taken from outside ‘Unity House’.
  • Magdalene Walk – Giant ATX in black/blue from rear garden.
  • Whitby
  •  Stanney Woods Avenue – Whilst walking along road with Xiaomi 12 mobile phone in hand an unknown cyclist has ridden past and snatched it out of their hand and rode away.
  • Fern Road – Flat packed shed left on driveway of property taken by unknown offender/s.
  • Rossmore
  • Abbey Court – Apollo Slant Mountain bike taken.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • St. Pauls
  • Eccleston Avenue – Access gained to rear of property and trailer, containing sand taken.
  • Pound Road – Garden entered and large quantity of copper piping taken.
  • Sutton
  • Overpool Road – Parcels taken from front garden.

    Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:
     

    ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Parkgate
  • Brook Lane – VW Polo has both the front and rear registration plates, showing 4SYV removed and taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Two unknown males climb over rear wall of compound onto ‘Hooton Works’ carrying containers. Fuel syphoned from vehicle. 
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Vauxhall Astra has the rear registration plate, showing VU57 TMX taken.
  • Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
     
    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Princes Road – Vauxhall Corsa, parked on residential driveway has rear windscreen smashed by unknown means.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Parkgate
  • Springcroft – Kia has rear passenger window smashed.
  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Vauxhall Zafira has offside wing mirror kicked off by unknown passing male.
