Dear Resident

Humberside Police are investigating a Burglary Residential  

 

Location:  Priory Road Cottingham HU16 4SA 

 

 Day / Date/Time:  Thursday 25/4/24    between 02.00 – 02.30am 

 

Unknow persons gained entry to the rear of the property, damaged the lock on the kitchen door and got into the house.  Suspects did not get any further than the kitchen, as they were scared off by the barking dogs. There doesn’t appear to have been anything take by the suspects.

If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have information on the whereabouts of the stolen property or have any information about the offenders or have CCTV/ Doorbell camera, that may have captured this incident, please contact the police 101 quoting.

Humberside Police are investigating a Burglary Residential  

 

Location:  Bromby Close Cottingham HU16 5DF

 

 Day / Date/Time:  Thursday 25/4/24   at  20:00  and 20:20 pm

 

Two Unknown suspects have attempted to break into the victim’s garage by pulling apart a glass window from the frame.  The suspects when realising they could not gain entry to the garage left the area via a path that is directly next to the victim’s house which leads to castle road, avoiding all properties.   The suspects then left on mopeds, no description of bikes or registration. 

No items were taken.

Keep the shed/garage secure at all times

 

     Fill in or fit bars over any windows & prevent a view inside 

 

Ensure all doors are secure with quality lock 

 

    Ensure hinges are coach bolted and cannot be removed 

 

    Fit a standalone alarm or connect it to the house system  

       

Chain & anchor the valuable/desirable item.
