Thank you for responding to our survey. We are working hard to tackle speeding in Mumbles.

Today PCSO DUNBAR and local residents were at number of locations across the community with a Speed Gun this morning. If you have concerns surrounding a particular area, please respond to this message with the street/road name and I will visit the top  suggested locations.

All results from this speed scoping exercise will be emailed to you.

Queens Road and Kings Road given the time at 10am were quiet for the time being. However at 1020 hrs the location of Langland Road where vehicles are travelling from the top of the hill down towards the side of Underhill Park was most worrying. 

The speeding Gun scoping exercise found that out of 40 vehicles sampled in relation to their speed at the speed limit, over 90% were over the speeding limit. All information will be shared with our respective partners. Please also remember the Op Snap to report issues of vehicles etc. 

I wish to thank the wonderful resident who assisted with helping with this exercise and this shows fantastic community spirit and engagement in Mumbles. 

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Heddiw roedd SCCH DUNBAR a thrigolion lleol mewn nifer o leoliadau ar draws y gymuned gyda gwn Speed y bore yma. Os oes gennych bryderon ynghylch ardal benodol, ymatebwch i'r neges hon gydag enw'r stryd/ffordd a byddaf yn ymweld â'r prif leoliadau a awgrymir.

Bydd yr holl ganlyniadau o'r ymarfer cwmpasu cyflymder hwn yn cael eu hanfon atoch chi.

Roedd Queens Road a Ffordd y Brenin o ystyried yr amser am 10am yn dawel am y tro. Fodd bynnag, am 1020 o'r gloch roedd lleoliad Langland Road lle mae cerbydau'n teithio o ben y bryn i lawr tuag at ochr Parc Underhill yn peri pryder mawr. 

Canfu ymarfer cwmpasu Goryrru Gwn fod dros 90% o'r cerbydau a samplwyd mewn perthynas â'u cyflymder ar y terfyn cyflymder, dros 90% dros y terfyn goryrru. Bydd yr holl wybodaeth yn cael ei rhannu gyda'n partneriaid. Cofiwch hefyd yr Op Snap i adrodd materion cerbydau ac ati.
