I am writing to you because you have highlighted that Speeding is one of your priorities.  PC Ben ALLMAN and I recently attended a location within Farnborough where we conducted checks using a laser speed gun.  We estimate that we checked in excess of 70 vehicles, and on this occasion the average speed was below 30 miles per hour; the speed limit for that road.

We recognise that some drivers may take the opportunity to alert others to our presence, and that the average speed I have made reference to, may not be reflective of the road normally; we will continue to attend that location, and others across the area.
