Parking / Parcio

Parcio / Parking

Shwmae

Mae Heddlu De Cymru yn gweithio i fynd i'r afael â'ch pryderon parcio yn Cathays.

Gall parcio anystyriol neu anghyfreithlon fod yn beryglus i gerddwyr a defnyddwyr ffyrdd eraill. Gall hefyd beri rhwystr i gerbydau brys.

Er bod rhywfaint o weithgarwch gorfodi yn digwydd ar y cyd â phartneriaid (mae Local Authority) yn defnyddio swyddogion gorfodi parcio yn hytrach na'r heddlu), yn aml gall problemau gael eu datrys drwy ymwybyddiaeth ac addysg, neu fesurau ymarferol eraill.

Rydym wedi gwneud y canlynol:

  • Siarad â modurwyr a rhoi gwybodaeth iddynt am y gyfraith
  • Cydweithio â swyddogion gorfodi parcio'r cyngor i fynd i'r afael â phryderon lleol
  • Rhoi Hysbysiadau Cosb (dirwyon parcio) i droseddwyr mynych

    Hi,

South Wales Police are working to tackle your parking concerns in Cathays.

Inconsiderate or illegal parking can put pedestrians and other road users in danger. It can also create an obstruction for emergency vehicles.

While some enforcement activity is carried out jointly with partners (relevant local authority employ parking enforcement officers rather than the police), often problems can be alleviated through awareness and education, or other practical measures.

    We have been:

  • Talking to motorists and advising them of the law
  • Liaising with council parking enforcement officers over local concerns
  • Issuing Penalty Charge Notices (parking fines) to persistent offenders
