A 23 year old man from Worcester was arrested in the Pickersleigh area of Malvern this afternoon on suspicion of theft.

I was on cycle patrol when I was made aware of an incident at Tesco Express.

The man left the area on foot, along with other males.

I was able to keep an eye on the males location and guide officers to the male who was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.

We take retail theft extremely seriously and by being out in the community it can put us in a position where we can react quickly to such incidents.
