An address on Almond Avenue, Armthorpe was closed down this week after months of antisocial behaviour in the area. The property had been subjected to numerous criminal damages, with nearly all the windows being smashed in recent weeks. 

South Yorkshire Police and DMBC received regular complaints from local residents regarding the occupants and visitors causing issues in the area. 

These incidents have been closely monitored and have now been presented to a Judge who granted a closure order.

This order will now prevent any persons being at the property, and possession of the property has now returned to St Leger homes.

This is a big step in reducing crime and Antisocial behaviour in the area of Armthorpe. 

You may remember a similar order was granted some months ago at a property on Maple Grove. Since this order, the reports around this property have completely stopped, which reflects the impact this kind of work can have.
