Ten tickets issued to those parked illegally around primary schools

Dear Resident,

You told us you wanted to see us tackling illegal parking around schools in the sector, so that’s what we’ve been doing!

This week we have visited:

Glebelands Primary School, Chatteris

Kingsfield Primary School, Chatteris

Westwood Primary School, March

Ash Grove Primary Academy, March

Burrowmoor Primary School, March

Cavalry Primary School, March

Benwick Primary School

Alderman Jacobs School, Whittlesey

Park Lane Primary School, Whittlesey

Ten parking tickets were issued this week, with words of advice given to many more!

We would like to remind you that you are not allowed to park on a single yellow lines during the hours of operation, which can be found on signs around the area. Anyone found to be doing so may return to a ticket from us.

This issue continues to be a priority for us, and we will continue these regular patrols at school drop off and pick up times. We can’t be at every school everyday, but we will try to be there as much as we can.
