Thanks very much to the 11 volunteers who assisted with the safety sweep in Billingshurst today.

We searched 4 areas and found 2 socks filled with sand - presumably to be swung as weapons, a tent peg, a wallet, a short pole, a current passport and lots of removed security tags from bottles of alcohol - providing intelligence of where shoplifters go. We also came across a group of lads smoking cannabis on play equipment, so further intelligence for Police patrols

I am about to create Teamer events for the 2 Brighton Safety Sweeps. RV will be 1000 hours on Monday 13/5 and Sunday 19/5, Withdean Park and Ride, Tongdean Lane, Withdean, BN15JD. W3W quite.name.sound.

Please respond whether or not you can attend. We had a much better response on Teamer this time thank you, however, there were still 28 people who did not respond at all.
