Good afternoon resident(s), hope your well. 

Please can I make you aware of a suspicious incident, which occurred at approx. 03:00hrs of this morning ( 23/04/24 ) around the area of Templars Way, Penkridge. An unknown male has been seen acting suspiciously, looking inside vehicles and potentially trying door handles, to gain access within.  The male is described as being from an Afro-Caribbean ethnicity ,wearing a light grey jacket, light coloured trousers, having a grey backpack on, with his hood up. 

If you know who this male could be, or can provide any further information to help with our enquiries, such as CCTV, please can you report this via 101 or through our social media channels, quoting incident number- 0128 of 23/04/24.

Please can I ask that you remain vigilant by ensuring your vehicle is always locked when unattended, and to remove any valuables that may be on show.

You can also consider using some of the following tips to further protect your vehicle/belongings:

Using a steering wheel lock.

Putting your keys in a Faraday bag-  to stop any attempts to pick up a signal and clone your keys-as such preventing unwanted persons gaining access to your vehicle.
