National stalking awareness week

There is a real and frightening connection between stalking and intimate partner violence. Stalking can be a way to exert power and control during and/ or after an abusive relationship. Stalking can be frightening and have a long lasting negative impact. 

Support is available. 

On Wednesday 24th April 2024  between 4pm and 6pm officers will be at Tesco, Filey to provide information, support and advice. 

We have our mobile police unit with us so you will be able to speak privately, in full confidence, with an officer at the event. Alternatively, an appointment can be arranged for you at a more convenient time.
