As we approach the local and Mayoral elections, GMP Bury would like to take this opportunity remind our residents to stay safe when answering the door.
On the run-up polling day, more and more candidates and their supporters are going door to door canvasing for votes.
Remember, if you’re not expecting a caller keep the chain on the door and if available, make sure your ring doorbell is activated before you open the door.
Do NOT hand your ballot paper to anyone.
Do NOT allow anyone else to populate your form to apply for a postal vote.
