Two arrests following rural burglary in Shropshire


Following the theft of a quad bike from Market Drayton after 11:00am on Friday the 19th of April, Police Officers deployed to the area. After receiving further witness information, Officers were able to make an arrest of one suspect at around 1:00pm in Friday, another suspect made off.

Further enquiries and searches located the second suspect and he was arrested on the morning of Saturday the 20th of April.  Both suspects have been remanded and await their day in court next week.  

These arrests have been linked to Operation Gander, a West Mercia Police Operation targeting an Organised Criminal Gang that have been responsible for a series of burglaries from farms across Shropshire and Wales.
