Internet safety visits at Bishop Wilson Church of England Primary School

โ€˜Cyber Sidโ€™ had his second visit with reception, year 1 and year 2 this morning at 'Bishop Wilson Church of England Primary School'.

๐Ÿ‘€ Todays input was all about 'Sharing Pictures' and how it is important to ask for permission when sharing pictures, as once they are posted onto social media pages we no longer have control about who can see them.

๐Ÿ‘ The children didn't disappoint with their fantastic singing and dancing along to the 'funny in my tummy' song and everyone got involved in the question and answer session.

We have also had an input on 'Internet Awareness' this morning with years 3/4/5.

The session covered:

๐Ÿ”น how mobile phones work including data storage

๐Ÿ”น social media

๐Ÿ”น the mindset of adolescents and why we behave as we do online

๐Ÿ”น and who to speak to about our concerns.

There was also a little input on AI and how photographs that parents/others post on social media platforms and how that information, including can be manipulated by AI and used by other people.
