Following our investigation, a man has been jailed in relation to a stabbing in Banbury.

At around 9pm on 9 February 2020, police received a report of men fighting in Prescott Avenue. Officers attended and found a man with stab wounds to his torso. The victim was taken to hospital for further treatment, but was later discharged. 

Investigating officer Detective Constable Bryan Groves said: “We will never tolerate knife crime and will always seek to bring offenders to justice, no matter how long it takes and if they try to flee abroad.”
