Dear Resident

On Thursday April 18th, PCSO Rees along with BCBC Cllrs for the Porthcawl East ward carried out a patrol of Cilparc, Pant Morfa, Meadow Lane and Greenways. This was part of a monthly Environmental Visual Audit (EVA) walk where different locations are patrolled. An Environmental Visual Audit (EVA) is when community members, Police and representatives of other relevant agencies conduct a walk-through together of the neighbourhood to identify issues of concern.

The EVA resulted in:

Cilparc – Concerns were raised regarding vehicles blocking the cycle lane near to the hairdressers. Cllr Walter has referred the matter to highways for possibility for the lines and signage to be made clearer to show it is a cycle track and not a parking space.

Meadow Lane – Concerns were raised regarding a vehicle continually parking close to the junction of Woodland Avenue. PCSO Rees will monitor the location and decide if the vehicle is causing an obstruction.

Locations: John Street, Lias Road, Esplande Avenue, Picton Avenue and Blundell Avenue

Ddydd Iau Ebrill 18fed, fe wnaeth SCCH Rees ynghyd â Chynghorwyr CBS Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr dros ward Dwyrain Porthcawl gynnal patrolau o Gilparc, Pant Morfa, Meadow Lane a Greenways. Roedd hyn yn rhan o daith gerdded Archwiliad Gweledol Amgylcheddol (EVA) fisol lle mae gwahanol leoliadau yn cael eu patrolio. Archwiliad Gweledol Amgylcheddol (EVA) yw pan fydd aelodau o'r gymuned, yr Heddlu a chynrychiolwyr asiantaethau perthnasol eraill yn cynnal taith gerdded drwy'r gymdogaeth gyda'i gilydd i nodi materion sy'n peri pryder.

Arweiniodd yr EVA at:

Cilparc – Mynegwyd pryderon ynglŷn â cherbydau yn blocio'r lôn feics ger y siop trin gwallt. Mae'r Cyng. Walter wedi cyfeirio'r mater at yr adran briffyrdd i weld a oes posibilrwydd i'r llinellau a'r arwyddion gael eu gwneud yn gliriach i ddangos mai trac beicio ydyw ac nid man parcio.

Meadow Lane – Mynegwyd pryderon ynghylch cerbyd sy'n parcio'n barhaus yn agos at gyffordd Woodland Avenue. Bydd SCCH Rees yn monitro'r lleoliad ac yn penderfynu a yw'r cerbyd yn achosi rhwystr.
