Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 17 April 2024


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

Monday 29/04/2024 – HIGH STREET (officers will be visible) – 10:00 -11:00

Between 10.30am on Wednesday 10 and 9.00am on Thursday 11 April in Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, on the Cottage Garden Allotments, the window of a shed was smashed to gain entry and a 20” petrol chain saw, a socket set and a cordless drill were stolen.

Between 7.00pm on Wednesday 10 and 9.30am on Thursday 11 April in Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, a gate was forced to get onto an allotment garden, a poly tunnel cover was ripped and a second one entered. Wood was ripped from a shed door to gain entry but nothing was taken. A second shed was damaged in an attempt to gain entry.

At some time in a few days before 10.57am on Thursday 11 April in Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, on the Cottage Garden Allotments, a caravan used for storage on a plot, was broken into and a gas blow torch was stolen.

Between 6.00pm on Wednesday 10 and 7.00am on Thursday 11 April in Coronation Road, Hucknall, one of the locks on a shed was broken off in an attempt to gain entry.

Theft of motor vehicle

At 2.17am on Sunday 14 April in Glebe Street, Hucknall, an attempt to steal a blue Kawasaki motorbike. The thieves in blue hoodies and with faces covered, tried to cut off the disc lock damaging the brake disc in the process.

At 2.00am on Sunday 14 April in Peveril Street, Hucknall, A motorbike alarm was activated and a group of boys was seen running off towards Annesley Road. The bike suffered damage to the lock.

At 9.30pm on Tuesday 16 April in Hayden Lane, Hucknall, a white Ford Transit Pickup truck with a cage on the back, containing tools and scrap metal, was stolen. It was driven off down Papplewick Lane towards Station Road. It was later found in Barbara Square with damaged ignition wiring.

Between 6.00pm on Wednesday 10 and 7.30am on Thursday 11 April on the Imex Enterprise Park, Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, a trailer converted into a bar, parked outside the Lincoln Green Brewery was entered by smashing a window and soft drinks stolen.

Between 9.00pm on Thursday 11 and 9.00am on Friday 12 April in Watnall Road, Hucknall, tyres were stolen from a B-Twin mountain bike stored at the rear of the Premier Stores.

Robbery

At 8.09pm on Wednesday 10 April at Morrisons Daily, Portland Road, Hucknall, a male entered the shop and started placing food in a blue Ikea bag. On being challenged by staff he kicked out punched a staff member on the hand and threatened to punch them in the face. The staff stepped back and he made off with a quantity of sausages and cheese. The attacker was described as a white male, 6-01” tall, 30/35 years old, bald head, wearing a green hoodie and green camouflage trousers.

At 7.53pm on Saturday 13 April in Lime Tree Road, Hucknall, a front door lock was glued.

5.42pm on Saturday 13 April in McDonald’s Restaurant, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a report of at least 12 13/14 year old teenagers abusing the staff and shooting water guns at them and the customers.
