Northumbria Police have received an increased number of residential and commercial burglaries in the Amble area.

We would like to remind residents to ensure their properties are secure overnight, including garages and outbuildings. 

Officers have identified 2 offenders and they were promptly arrested and charged with a burglary to a commercial property in Amble within 24 hours of the offence.

One offender has been remanded into custody pending the case trial and the other offender has been bailed. 

There will be increased patrols in the area. We encourage residents to report any persons acting suspiciously to the Police.
