Further to my previous information. I wanted to make you aware, there’s been a rise in ‘Motorbikes/Mopeds been stolen’ in the York area. Here’s some of my basic tips for you:

Safely securing motorbikes – Steering lock on and appropriate lock used

Storing motorbikes/mopeds out of sight and in secure locations – for example in a locked garage

Utilising property CCTV / Ring door bell – park close to cameras (if you have them)

Following these would help provide greater evidential opportunities, should your motorbike/moped be taken.
