Last night, Tuesday 16th August 2024, officers from your local neighbourhood policing team have been on patrol in Great Harwood when a vehicle driving in the area has come to their attention.

The vehicle has parked up on a nearby street, where officers approached to speak to the driver.

Checks on the vehicle were conducted which showed the vehicle's MOT had expired in January 2024. The driver of the vehicle also did not have insurance to drive the vehicle. 

As a result of this, the vehicle was seized under Section 165. The driver was also given a fine for having no MOT, and reported for driving without insurance.
