This was organised during the school holidays to engage with the local youths and as many community members in the area. The event was well attended and well received by the residents.

The following representatives were in attendance to this event,

  • MOAT housing officers & community engagement officers
  • MOAT’s repairs and Heating contractor

  • Kent & Medway Talking Therapies
  • All three North Gillingham local Councillors
  • The event organisers conducted sunflower seed planting, gifts giveaway for kids and a fruit stall as a means to engage with the public.

During the event Police officers listened to feedback from #TheVineries residents about concerns and issues that affect their community. They also carried out #MyCommunityVoice sign ups. They even had the opportunity play a game of football with the local youths who attended the event.
