Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault and other offences in Berinsfield.

At around 7.30pm on Friday (12/4), a blue Honda Civic stopped by Co-op Food in Fane Drive after an altercation involving three men inside the car. Two men got out of the Honda and continued to fight on the street, brandishing knives and threatening each other. One of the men then entered the Co-op and the other two got back in the Honda and drove off.

A man in his twenties received hospital treatment for minor injuries but has since been discharged.

A 22-year-old man from Wantage was arrested on suspicion of affray. They remain in custody at this time.
