Theft of Mountain Bike - Fraserburgh

Police are appealing for witnesses and asking bike owners to be vigilant following the theft of a black Carrera Vengeance men's mountain bike, in Fraserburgh.  The bike was stolen from outside Fraserburgh Leisure Centre, Seaforth Street, Fraserburgh between 12pm and 1 pm on Wednesday 27 March 2024.

Anyone with information can contact the Police on 101 or via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number CR/0109726/24.

North East Division Crime Reduction Officer Constable Russell said ‘Always use two good quality locks, at least one of which is a D-lock, to secure your bike even when stored inside a shed. As a ‘rule of thumb’ look to spend at least 10% of the value of the bike on security. Secure your bike to the fabric of the shed or garage using a ground anchor and heavy chain and ALWAYS lock the door.

Details of how to secure your shed can be found at –
