Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 27 March 2024


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

Tuesday 02/04/2024 – KEY CRAFT WATNALL ROAD – 09:30 – 11:00

Thursday 11/04/2024 – OT FUNDRAISERS BOLSOVER STREET – 08:30 – 10:00

Monday 29/04/2024 – HIGH STREET (officers will be visible) – 10:00 -11:00

Please take the opportunity to meet members of your local policing team and discuss any issues you may have regarding crime or antisocial behaviour in your neighbourhood. 


Crimes reported over the past seven days.
Burglary Dwelling

At 11.39pm on Monday 25 March in Annesley Road, Hucknall, staff at the Annesley Lodge Nursing and Residential Home reported a possible intruder in the back garden area. Lights were activated and noises which sounded like doors being tried were heard. No entry was gained and no damage recorded.

Robbery

Around 7.00pm on Sunday 24 March near the ‘Tin Bridge’, Butlers Hill Tram Stop, Hucknall, a young girl was playing with three friends in a field when two males walked slowly towards them. The girls were scared and as they ran off towards the allotments one male shouted “Run you little bastards”. In the rush to escape they left a scooter with green wheels and a green line on the deck. The males picked this up and took it away with them.

Criminal Damage

At 11.10pm on Friday 22 March in Minster Close, Hucknall, a brick was thrown through the window of a house.

At some time before 2.47pm on Monday 25 March in Nottingham Road, Hucknall, the wing mirror was knocked off a black VW Golf parked outside the Leen Valley Care Home. A note was left on the windscreen saying “Next time doing your tyres”.

At 11.26am on Friday 22 March at The Holgate Academy, Hillcrest Drive, Hucknall, a report of two teenagers walking around the car park looking in cars. No attempt was made to open the cars. Described as white, male 13/15 years old, both around 5-10”. one wearing glasses, black hoodie and black joggers. The second had a black face covering and was also wearing a black hoodie and black joggers.

At 3.09pm on Friday 22 March in Goodall Crescent, a report of a group of white males15/17 years old, all in black clothing, gathering in the communal area of a block of flats. They did not live in the flats and their behaviour was noisy and intimidating.

At 5.08pm on Friday 22 March in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, four female and two male teenagers were throwing shopping trolleys around in the car park creating problems for customers. There were no reports of damage to vehicles. Two females had brown hair and one had blond hair, one was wearing a blue Puffa coat. One male was wearing a Hoodrich jacket.

At 7.30pm on Friday 22 March in Polperro Way, Hucknall, a report of youths banging on the side of a house and a metal plate on the chimney.

Around 8.15pm on Saturday 23 in Titchfield Park, Hucknall, a report of three or four teenagers, all dressed in black, shooting fireworks at each other.

At 1.20pm on Sunday 24 March in Dorey Way, Hucknall, a report of 15/20 people with up to 10 off road bikes riding at speed around the old airfield. All males, in dark clothing, hoodies, balaclavas and without helmets. There were a lot of dog walkers around and some were in danger of being hit.
