Here is a update on neighbourhood policing in the Shepshed Loughborough West neighbourhood. 

Location:  Oakley Road, Shepshed

Crime: Criminal Damage

When: Wednesday 20th March 2024, Between 15:00-15:30

Circumstances: Damage caused to fencing and arable land by individuals riding quad bikes and off-road bikes.

Location:  Mount Grace Road, Loughborough

Crime: Theft from motor vehicle 

When: Between 22:00 on Sunday 24th March and 07:00 on Monday 25th March

Circumstances: Car entered by unknown means and property stolen from within.

What have the neighbourhood team been doing?

One of our current beat priority's is tackling road safety concerns across the beat, and so the team have been out monitoring speeds on our roads, and following up with those drivers who were driving at speeds above the relevant limits.
