Dear Resident,

Welcome to the March edition of your neighbourhood policing newsletter. 

In Cambourne we’ve issued community resolutions to four young people identified as being responsible for causing criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.

We’ve carried out multi-agency visits alongside our colleagues in immigration and the council visiting businesses where there are concerns about illegal working and modern day slavery.

A community protection warning has been issued to an individual in Haslingfield following ongoing anti-social behaviour.

We’ve also carried out speed checks in Sawston and patrolled the village along with others include Great Shelford, Longstanton, Cottenham and Bar Hill.

We’re also pleased to say we arrested a man in connection with recent clothing bank thefts that we’ve previously mentioned.

Our PCSOs have been busy holding ‘Coffee with a Cop’ events in Eversden, Teversham, Fulbourn and Milton as well as visiting schools across the area.

We also took part in Safer Business Action Week working with retailers to tackle ongoing retail crime. You’ll hear more about this later. 

Please continue to spread the word about eCops with your friends and neighbours so they too can hear first hand the work being done in their community.

Current priorities for your local Neighbourhood Policing Team

Every three months we use a combination of our own data and your feedback via our community policing survey to set three priorities for each of our neighbourhood policing teams to focus on for the coming quarter.

We met with members of the public on 24 February where the priorities for now until May were set. They include:

·       Violent crime

·       Anti-social behaviour

·       Drug dealing
