Stay in the know: Policing in East Cambridgeshire this March

Dear Resident,

Welcome to the March edition of your neighbourhood policing newsletter.

This month we’ve continued to look at modern day slavery, particularly around car washes. We visited one premises in Chettisham and we’re pleased to say there were no concerns.

Our PCSO Mags Harvey has been out visiting Fordham Rainbows and Brownies as well as multiple schools including those in Sutton, Isleham and Burrough Green.

Meanwhile the team have carried out speed checks in Fordham and addressed anti-social driving around Ely Leisure Park and Elan Business Park in Sutton.

We also took part in Safer Business Action Week working with retailers to tackle ongoing retail crime. You’ll hear more about this later.

Please continue to spread the word about eCops with your friends and neighbours so they too can hear first hand the work being done in their community.

Until next month, I wish you all a safe bank holiday weekend and for those celebrating, a happy Easter.

Kind Regards,

Sergeant Mat Lupton-Pike

East Cambridgeshire Neighbourhood Policing Team

·       Violent crime

·       Anti-social behaviour

·       Knife crime

·       Drug dealing

If you missed the meeting and would like to join our next meeting on 3rd April, Please register to be sent the meeting invite.
