Stay in the know: We tackle speeding and drug dealing

Dear Resident,

Welcome to the March edition of your neighbourhood policing newsletter.

If you follow us on social media, you’ll see there has been lots going on including quad bike seizures, stolen motor vehicles recovered, burglary arrests and much more!

Following on from your concerns we’ve carried out speed checks in St Neots, Huntingdon and Godmanchester and patrols around drug dealing in St Neots and Brampton.

Thank you to those who joined our officers in Yaxley, Sawtry and St Neots for our ‘Coffee with a Cop’ events. We have further events coming up which we hope to see you at.

We also took part in Safer Business Action Week working with retailers to tackle ongoing retail crime. You’ll hear more about this later.

Please continue to spread the word about eCops with your friends and neighbours so they too can hear first hand the work being done in their community.

Until next month, I wish you all a safe bank holiday weekend and for those celebrating, a happy Easter.

Kind Regards,

Inspector Colin Norden

Huntingdonshire Neighbourhood Policing Team

Current priorities for your local Neighbourhood Policing Team

We last met with members of the public on 5 March where the priorities until June were set. They include:

·       Speeding

·       Drugs and weapons offences

·       Parking
