Dear Resident,

On Saturday 27th June 2026 officers from the Medway Community Safety Unit will be in attendance at the Historic Dockyard in Chatham during their Armed Forces Day event.

This annual event, in partnership with Medway Council, is an opportunity to show support for all those who have served in the Armed Forces, including current personnel, their families, cadets, and veterans.

On the day, you can enjoy colourful military parades, displays, bands and singers as we come together to celebrate those who have served.  On the day there will be a range of immersive experiences – from military displays to musical performances.  There will also be the opportunity to speak with members of the Medway Community Safety unit about anything you have concerns over.
