Safety around abandoned and unsafe buildings across the area

🚨 PARENTS/GUARDIANS — WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨

We’re seeing a sharp rise in children breaking into abandoned and unsafe buildings across the area. 

These sites are not playgrounds, they are dangerous, unstable, and can change from one day to the next.

Last week, a child suffered serious injuries after falling inside the abandoned Saracen’s Head in Carrington. This incident could easily have been far worse.

We’re urging all parents and carers to speak with your children about the risks. A moment of thrill isn’t worth a lifetime of consequences.

Our patrols around derelict sites will be increasing, and anyone found inside these buildings may face further action.

Let’s work together to keep our young people safe.
