We are happy to report there were no issues at the locations we have attended, Weapon sweeps have been conducted in local green spaces, and happy to report no items were located, also visited local shops to promote and reinforce the Responsible Retailer Agreement. We have visited multiple locations with proactive patrols, talking to the residents. Through targeted and active patrols in the area officers have detoured crime such as shop theft, misuse of drugs in public places
Please remember as the weather gets warmer to ensure that all of your properties are secure, I know how tempting it can be to leave windows open, please ensure that ground floor windows and doors are locked and secured, if upper windows are left open try to remove things like wheelie bins or other items that can be used to climb and gain access to your homes / properties. Please remember to check your car is locked every time before you walk away, just a simple pull of the car handle can save a lot of heart ache, stress and loss in the long run.
If you are experiencing issues in your area we want to hear from you! Please feel free to contact us via WMnow however please avoid reporting criminal matters via this platform, there are numerous other ways to report issues. In an emergency please contact us on 999 or 101 for non emergency enquiries, alternatively please consider visiting our website Report | West Midlands Police for useful tips and alternative methods to report your concerns. | ||
