Kingshurst Newsletter Crimes in the area Only 1 crime this week On the between 23.00hrs on the 19/05/26 to 12.00hrs on the 20/05/26 Theft of Motor Vehicle a Silver FORD Europe on Hadfield Way. Good News The team located a vulnerable missing person on 23rd May that was missing from the Marsto//n Green area and located in Chelmsley Wood. He was safely returned to his home address and referrals made for him.
The Smiths wood team’s Sgt and the Castle Bromwich neighbourhood officer were out and about yesterday evening in Kingshurst and Castle Bromwich on our new Police E bikes.
After an eagle-eyed member of the public noticed a suspicious looking car parked near the Scouts Hunt on Brownsover Close, Castle Bromwich, PCSO Khan attended the area where the offenders had returned to the car. The vehicle made off on sight of PCSO Khan. Vehicle recovered parked up near to the entrance of Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens on Kingsleigh Drive a few minutes later. Turned out the White Ford Kuga was stolen and with false plates. The vehicle has been recovered.
A male was arrested for criminal damage against a neighbour. He was also wanted for three thefts and a robbery in Nottingham. We assisted with an incident in Marston Drive where a male was witnessed to collapse. On arrival members of the public were helping tend to the male and an ambulance was called. It is suspected the male had some type of seizure.

On the same day we helped West Yorkshire Police with the search of an address in Kingshurst after he was arrested the night before in Leeds for kidnap and fraud offences.
