Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

This is a short update from your DNO 

Officers have been on patrol in the area of Blakenall on the newly acquired Pedal assisted Bikes, this has resulted in a number of arrest for wanted people  following foot chase, one male was quoted as saying "you would never have caught me if you had not been on that bike and to be honest he would have been right. This bike are a greart asset to out NHT team allowing us to patrols parks, canals and other open spaces 

operation has been also carried out around the area of  swanies field Goscote lane  involving local officers, traffic units, dogs and police helicopter. This resulted in 2 arrest being made for burglary and theft of motor bike along with other offences.  A stolen bike has also been recovered  and a number of other bikes being seized. several other offenders have also been identified and investigations are on going in relation to these youths.

Talks by PCSOs have taken place at a number of schools in relation to the dangers of knives. 

Street watch is well underway and we now have 4 members that are willing to give up their time. patrols will be carried out very soon.
