Increase in shed and garage burglaries in the Ilkley / Addingham area

As always with these meessage they are not intended to scare but to make the public aware of what is going on in the area, which experience shows is more likely to generate that early call which gives the police a better chance of getting the right result and property back to its owner.

Over the last 7 days there has been 6 garage or shed burgalries in the Ilkley/Addingham area

The two suspects appear to be using a small white car to get around possibly an Audi or a Citreon.

Following an early call last night a white vehicle was stopped and searched but couldnt be linked to any offences
