Monthly Community Update from Sgt Butler – February 2026

I hope this message finds you well. As we move through February, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving.

🔍 Local Priorities

Our current focus areas include:

Vehicle crime - across all wards

ASB Ramsay House relating to drug use and drug dealing - Pleck

Preventing burglaries in line with seasonal trends - Paddock and Palfrey

We’re continuing patrols and targeted operations in these areas, and welcome any feedback or concerns you’d like to raise.

🤝 Partnership Working

We’ve been working closely with:

Walsall housing group - to effectively deal with anti social behaviour and safeguard vulnerable members of our community

Walsall council - assisting with on going anti social behaviour and fly tipping in the area.

These collaborations are helping us respond more effectively and holistically to community needs.

🗞️ Round-Up from All Wards

Here’s a snapshot of key updates across our patch:

Pleck – Officers have arrested a female wanted for failing to attend court and for theft from a dwelling. Officers have been in the Alumwell area conducting high visibility patrols in the area engaging with our community

Paddock - Officers and PCSO's have been conducting a large number of engagements around the Ward area, regularly patrolling hotspot area's and responding to any area's of concern raised.

Palfrey - Officers have arrested a male for 7 shoplifting offences following a good spot from officers for the wanted male. The male has since been charged with these offences.
