I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Dear Residents,
Officers from Abbey and Northbury Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team will be conducting a "Cuppa With A Copper" meeting outside Barking Learning Centre (BLC), Ripple Road tomorrow from 1500 - 1530 hours as part of Day 8 of our 16-day initiative to increase safety and awareness around Violence Against Women And Girls (VAWG). Officers are inviting residents and members of public to join us to discuss any concerns or issues, and to collate intelligence that could improve and help build confidence for us to thrive within the area.
