POTENTIAL SCAM VISIT

Good Evening, 

I wish to thank everyone that has raised concerns regarding a potential scam visit to some properties in Brigstock yesterday. Some residents rightly raised their concerns on Facebook that this may not be a legitimate visit by Police and this was reported through to us. 

I can confirm that the person who attended is a legitimate Police Officer from Northamptonshire Police as part of the volume fraud team. He is a detective constable hence the lack of uniform. 

Please never be afraid to query things like this if you are unsure, please call 101 to ask if it is legitimate or raise via your Police Liaison Representative.
