I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Dear Residents,
We want to make you aware that there has been an increase in mobile phone theft in our area.
Your safety is our priority, and we encourage everyone to take extra precautions when out and about, especially when walking to the bus stop, waiting for the bus, or travelling on the bus.
Criminals often commit these offences using electric scooters or bicycles, whereby the offenders snatch your phone and make off.
If you witness suspicious activity, please report it immediately by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.
