There has been a report of vehicle inference in your area. On Sunday 26th of October at approx 23:45 hrs a male has been seen entering a car on Downfield Road , Stroud.
While we work to deal with the incident here is some crime prevention advice to keep your vehicle safe . The advice comes after a number of thefts from vehicles in the Stroud area in the last week.
Police are reminding residents in Stroud to lock their vehicles and take any personal belongings from the vehicle . Including bags, mobile phones ,laptops, wallets & purses . Please don't leave anything on show in your car that could be tempting to thieves like loose change, bank cards, dash cams & sunglasses.
Thieves are opportunists who are looking for valuables on display in your vehicle and often try car door handles to see if they have been left unlocked.
